Project Overview

Golden Triangle Mitigation Bank will preserve over 650 acres and enhance over 430 acres of high-quality cypress/tupelo swamps and bottomland hardwood forests in the floodplain of the Sabine River.

The mitigation bank was approved to provide forested wetland credits to the USACE Galveston District on April 8, 2026, with an initial credit release of 211 forested wetland FCUs.
